The committee members of the Logan Tourism association have worked together to promote the city of Logan and the surrounding region. They have collected many recreational and Leisure operators and produced co-operative marketing and promotional activities to benefit the members.

Terry Skene  (LTA Chairman 2012 – 2016)

Terry is currently the Managing Director of Kingston Park Raceway which since its creation in 1996, has received 9 Business and Industry awards for success within the Leisure and Tourism industry and has now grown to become Australia’s leading Go-karting attraction.

Terry’s speciality skills are in strategic development and he has assisted many companies to achieve their goals through manageable and sustainable planning.

In 2005 Terry was accepted as a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Marketing Manager of the BLIAQ

35 year career specialising in the Media with a background in television, radio and publishing and in Marketing of major events. Have worked throughout Australia and a number of countries in Asia.

For the past six years been the Marketing Manager of the BLIAQ, located at the Chung Tian Temple in Priestdale. Duties include marketing of the Buddha Birth Day Festival,  Queensland’s largest multicultural event in South Bank and liaison with the media and the various levels of Government and Corporate stakeholders in the Festival.

Currently on the Committee of the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital Butterfly Ball and the Marketing Director and Board Member of World Arts & Multi-Culture Inc.
